Rahul, Priyanka detained outside PM residence in Delhi

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, senior Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and several other top party leaders from outside the residence of PM Narendra Modi have been detained by the Delhi Police.

The Congress leaders were holding a sit-in demonstration in front of the Prime Minister’s residence on Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi on Tuesday.

The leaders were protesting to demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the ongoing controversy surrounding the NEET examination paper leak.

During the demonstration, Delhi Police personnel arrived at the scene and detained Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and other protesting Congress leaders.

They were subsequently removed from the location by police authorities.
