The Embassy of Bangladesh in the United Arab Emirates has taken steps to address the problems faced by Bangladeshi expatriates whose visas have been automatically cancelled.

According to the embassy, applications from around 300 expatriates have already been forwarded to the relevant ministry for necessary action.

In addition, approximately 1,400 more applications are currently under review and verification.

The embassy has also warned Bangladeshi expatriates not to make any financial transactions with individuals, brokers, or organisations claiming they can resolve auto-cancelled visa issues. It urged everyone to remain vigilant against such fraudulent activities.

The embassy further advised expatriates experiencing visa-related problems to follow the official procedures and contact the embassy directly for assistance, rather than relying on unauthorised intermediaries.
