2 killed as bus hits standing truck in Bogura

Two people have died and seven others injured after a passenger bus hit a stone-laden truck on the Dhaka-Bogura highway in Sherpur, Bogura, Sunday night.

The incident took place at about 11:30 PM when a Dhaka-bound bus belonging to Jamuna Line Paribahan hit the back of the stalled truck near Joypurhat.

The deceased were identified as passenger Mashur Rahman, 38, and the bus helper Nayan, 38.
