Puja Cheri denies secret marriage rumours, warns of legal action

Dhallywood actress Puja Cheri has denied reports that she secretly married a businessman, calling the claims false and misleading.

The actress addressed the rumours in a post on her verified Facebook page late Monday night, saying several media outlets had published unverified reports about her marriage and personal life.

Puja said she had previously clarified in an interview that she was engaged and that her marriage had been arranged by her family. She said she had not yet married and would publicly announce the marriage herself when it takes place.

“I have nothing to hide. When I get married, you will be the first to know,” she said in the post.

Puja also warned of legal action against those who publish false information about her or interfere with her personal life without permission.

She said she is currently taking some time for herself and preparing for new projects, which is why she has been away from the camera.

The actress urged journalists and media outlets to verify information before publishing reports about her personal life and said she would take legal steps to protect her rights if such reports continued.
