Brac employee’s body recovered from office in Subarnachar

Police recovered the hanging body of a Brac employee from a branch office in Kanchan Bazar area of Char Jabbar union in Subarnachar upazila of Noakhali on Tuesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Daudul Islam Tushar, a resident of Feni. He had joined the Brac branch as an auditor about four months ago.

According to local sources, Tushar was found hanging inside a room when someone went to collect the key to open the office in the morning. Police were informed and recovered the body from the scene.

The body was being prepared to be sent to the Noakhali General Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Subarnachar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Rafiqul Hasan said the incident was being investigated. The exact cause of death would be known after the autopsy report, he said.
