Foreign Minister Dr Khalilur Rahman left Dhaka for Qatar on Tuesday on a two-day official visit to discuss bilateral issues, including cooperation in the energy sector.
He was accompanied by a high-level government delegation. State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Aninda Islam Amit, Prime Minister's Adviser on Finance and Planning Dr Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir and Prime Minister's Foreign Affairs Adviser Humayun Kabir are among the delegation members, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the visit, the Bangladesh delegation is expected to take part in official engagements in Qatar.
The Foreign Minister is scheduled to return home on the night of August 19.
