37th BCS admin cadre assoc gets new body

The executive committee of 37th BCS Administration Cadre Association has been formed with Tasbir Hossain, Private Secretary to State Minister for Youth and Sports, elected as president and S M Abdullah Bin Shafique, serving at the Office of the Dhaka Divisional Commissioner, as general secretary.

The new committee was elected unanimously at the general meeting of the 37th BCS Administration Cadre Association held on August 26, 2026, according to a press release. 

Tasnimuzzaman Romel, PS to State Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, has been elected organising secretary, while Md Foyzur Rahman, PS to State Minister for Cultural Affairs, has been elected office secretary.  Md Kaushik Ahmed and Md Mahmud Ashik Kabir have been elected vice-presidents, while Md Nazmul Hasan and Md Nahid Bhuiyan have been elected joint general secretaries. Raihan Saikat has been elected treasurer.

Other members of the newly formed executive committee include Mst Maliha Khanam as women’s affairs secretary, Mohammad Salek Muhid as ICT affairs secretary, Imamul Hafiz Nadim as development and research affairs secretary, Nirupam Majumder as cultural affairs secretary, Md Sabuj Hasan as assistant treasurer and Jimran Mohammad Sayek as relief and disaster affairs secretary.

The newly elected leaders expressed their firm commitment to working for the overall welfare, professional interests and mutual development of the members of the 37th BCS Administration Cadre.
