Two Ashulia expressway bridges open today

Two two-lane service bridges from Dhaur intersection to Ashulia under the Dhaka-Ashulia Elevated Expressway project are opening to traffic today, Wednesday.
Road Transport and Bridges, Railways, and Shipping Minister Sheikh Robiul Alam will attend the inauguration ceremony at Dhaur Bridge at 10:00 AM as the chief guest.
Bangladesh Bridge Authority under the Bridges Division of the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges executed the project, said Md Masud Rana Sikder, Deputy Director and Public Relations Officer of the authority.
Each of the two service bridges spans a length of 3.71 kilometers.
The opening of the two bridges is expected to significantly ease traffic congestion in the area.
