
Day and night temperatures across Bangladesh may fall slightly over the next 24 hours as the monsoon remains fairly active over the country, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers, with isolated heavy to very heavy rain, may occur in different parts of the country over the next five days.
According to a forecast issued by meteorologist AKM Nazmul Haque on Saturday, many places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions may experience light to moderate rain or thundershowers with gusty winds by 6pm on Sunday.
Some places in Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions may also experience rain during the period, while moderate to heavy rainfall is likely at some places across the country.
Temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the following 24 hours, with rain likely in many places across all eight divisions.
On Monday and Tuesday, many areas of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and some areas of Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions may experience rain or thundershowers.
On Wednesday, rain may occur at some places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places in Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions.
Day and night temperatures may rise slightly on Wednesday.
