AB Party Chairman Mujibur Rahman Manju has accused his political allies of forgetting their promises after coming to power.
“We dreamed that no campus would be occupied, no one would be subjected to torture and no woman would face abuse. But after our friends came to power, they forgot everything,” he said.
Manju made the remarks while addressing the concluding rally of the 11-party alliance’s long march at Laldighi Maidan in Chattogram on Saturday night.
He said people had spontaneously welcomed the long march and that it had received a strong public response.
Holding NCP leader Nasiruddin Patwari’s hand up, Manju said, “He is another photocopy of Osman Hadi. If their demands are not met, each of them will become Osman Hadi.”
Referring to BNP’s 31-point reform plan, Manju said he had made a mistake by asking ChatGPT about the plan. He claimed ChatGPT had provided him with information that BNP had killed 31 of its own leaders and activists in six months.
Manju said they had hoped their friends would remember their promises after assuming power, but “they forgot everything”.
Leaders and activists of the 11-party alliance were present at the rally.
