No regional oil exports if Iran cannot sell its oil: Ghalibaf

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has warned that no other country in the region will be able to export oil if Iran is prevented from selling its own oil.

Ghalibaf issued the warning in a statement on Tuesday, saying that if Iran could not sell oil from the region, no other country would be able to do so either. He also warned that no infrastructure in the region would remain safe unless Iran’s security was guaranteed.

The warning was directed at the United States and regional countries as Tehran awaits a response from Washington to its proposal concerning the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
