Remittances reach $2.53 billion in 28 days of September

Bangladesh received $2.532 billion in remittances through legal banking channels in the first 28 days of September, according to Bangladesh Bank data released Tuesday.

The figure is 2.7% higher than the $2.465 billion received during the same period last year.

From July 1 to September 28, the country received $8.357 billion in remittances, up 13.5% from $7.365 billion during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
