Increase luggage trolleys quickly: Civil aviation minister

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat made a surprise visit to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 10:30 PM on Friday.

During the visit, the minister inspected the baggage belt area and spoke with passengers waiting for their luggage. He asked them how long it was taking to collect their baggage after leaving the aircraft and about their overall experience with the baggage delivery process.

The passengers expressed satisfaction with the airport’s baggage delivery system and said they were receiving their luggage within the scheduled time.

The minister stressed the need to further improve passenger services and instructed officials to give the highest priority to passenger comfort and satisfaction across the airport’s operations.

He also directed officials to increase the number of luggage trolleys quickly.

Relevant airport officials and those responsible for the airport’s operations were also present during the visit.
