PM joins World Habitat Day event

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has joined a discussion meeting marking World Habitat Day 2026 as the chief guest at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in the capital.

The event, organised by the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, is being held on Monday under the theme 'Universal Housing, Sustainable Urbanisation.'

Earlier, the prime minister planted a Sonalu (Golden Shower) sapling on the premises of the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre ahead of the programme.
