Sydney Sweeney’s father walked out after watching ‘Euphoria’

Hollywood actress Sydney Sweeney has revealed that her father and grandfather stopped watching the HBO series ‘Euphoria’ and left the room after seeing her in intimate scenes.

Speaking on NBC’s Sunday Today with Willie Geist in 2023, Sweeney said her mother knew about the nature of the scenes after visiting the set, but she had not discussed the matter with her father.

Her father later began watching the series with her grandfather without informing her. However, they reportedly became uncomfortable after seeing the intimate scenes and turned off the television.

Sweeney, who plays Cassie Howard in the series, has also expressed frustration over nude-scene screenshots being circulated on social media and tagged to her family members.

In a 2022 interview with The Independent, she said the attention often overshadowed her acting and highlighted a double standard in how male and female actors are judged for nudity on screen.
