Iran ready to defend itself: Araghchi

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said Tehran hopes to resolve its dispute through diplomacy but remains prepared to defend itself.
Speaking to reporters on Sunday, November 1, Araghchi said the outcome of ongoing talks mediated by Qatar would depend on Washington's response.
He said, Iran was awaiting a response to the conditions proposed by the United States. An Iranian delegation travelled to Qatar on Saturday to continue discussions with mediators, but no agreement has been reached so far.
Araghchi said, Tehran hoped Washington would choose the path of diplomacy and act reasonably.
