The National Board of Revenue (NBR) is examining the bank transactions of seven major industrial groups over allegations that they financed and provided manpower for garment workers' protests, with around 225 individuals and entities reportedly identified for scrutiny.

According to NBR sources, the list includes nearly 100 individuals whose bank accounts have been ordered frozen and 125 entities whose transaction details have been sought. However, another section of the report puts the number of entities at 120, leaving the exact figure unclear.
