Bodies of couple, children recovered from Mirpur-11

Police have recovered the bodies of a couple and their two children from a house in Bihari camp in Mirpur-11 of the capital.

Pallabi Police Station OC AKM Alamgir Jahan confirmed the matter on Thursday noon.

The deceased were identified as Mohammad Masum, his wife Fatema Akter Sumi and their two sons, Minhaz, aged three-and-a-half, and Asad, aged one-and-a-half.

According to neighbours, the family had fallen into debt. They might have committed suicide due to despair.

Police and the CID Crime Scene Unit are at the scene.
