The government has opened a round-the-clock call centre to assist Bangladeshi expatriates facing difficulties due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

In a press release issued on Sunday, authorities urged Bangladeshis living abroad to contact the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment if they encounter any problems. The ministry’s dedicated hotline; +8809610102030, will remain open 24 hours a day to provide support and guidance.

The government has also requested all public and private television channels, along with other electronic media outlets, to broadcast the hotline number in scroll form to ensure the message reaches those in need.
