Teen dies in Feni road mishap

A teenage boy was killed and his father was injured in a road mishap in Feni’s Daganbhuiyan upazila early Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Nur Mohammad, 14, son of Nur Alam, a resident of Laxmipur district.

According to locals, the incident occurred around 5 AM on the Feni-Noakhali regional highway when they were going to a local mosque for offering fajr prayer.

At that time, a truck knocked them down, leaving Nur Mohammad dead on the spot and his father injured.

Being informed, police recovered the body, seized the truck and sent the injured to Chattogram Medical College and Hospital for treatment.


Mohipal Highway Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Asadul Islam confirmed the incident.
