Couple, son killed in road accident on way to village home

A couple and their son were killed and daughter was critically injured killed after a truck smashed their motorcycle in Lalmonirhat's Patgram on Tuesday morning.

The accident occurred at about 9:30AM in Mirzarcod Model Mosjid area.

One of the deceased was identified as Shariful Islam, 30, worked at a private NGO in Patgram upazila.

According to police and local residence, Shariful started his journey this morning riding on his motorbike alongwith his wife, son and daughter. When the vehicle reached Mirzarcod Model Mosjid area, a speeding truck from opposite direction smashed the bike, leaving Shariful, his wife and son dead on the spot and daughter critically injured.

She was taken to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.

They met tragic accident on the way to village home to celebrate Eid with dearest one.
