Youth jailed for taking drugs

NARAYANGANJ, Apr 10: A mobile court led by Araihazar Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Mustafizur Rahman Emon jailed a youth Rafat, 30, for 15 days and fined him Tk 100 in an operation conducted in Noagaon area of Satgram Union on Thursday afternoon. 

According to the mobile court sources, Rafat was arrested while consuming drugs during the operation. Later, he was found guilty under Section 36(5) of the Narcotics Control Act, 2018 and sentenced immediately.
