Fire at Ctg shopping complex

A fire broke out at Chattogram Shopping Complex in the No. 2 Gate area of Chattogram on Saturday morning, prompting an emergency response from the Fire Service and Civil Defence.

According to the Fire Service control room, the incident was reported at approximately 9:45AM. In response, five firefighting units were deployed to bring the blaze under control.

Firefighters are currently working to contain the fire and further details will be provided as the situation develops.

According to local sources, the fire might have originated from a warehouse on the second floor of the shopping complex.

However, officials have not yet confirmed the cause of the fire.

No information about casualties or the extent of damage has been released so far.
