4 robbers posing as cops held at Kotalipara 

GOPALGANJ, Apr 24: Local people caught four robbers while trying to rob in the guise of DB policemen in the Sikirbazar area of Kotalipara Upazila of the district on Thursday night. After a mob lynching, the people handed them over to the police.

Later, on Friday morning, a toy pistol, RAB uniforms and handcuffs were recovered from the area between Pirarbari and the sluice gate of Sadullapur Union in Kotalipara.

Police of Agailjhara and Kotalipara police stations rescued the injured robbers and admitted to Gopalganj General Hospital and the two businessmen to Kotalipara Upazila Health Complex.

Kotalipara Police Station Officer-in-Charge Riaz Mahmud confirmed the incident.
