Manikganj Civil Surgeon made OSD

The government has removed Manikganj Civil Surgeon Dr. A K M Mofakkharul Islam from his current post and attached him to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) headquarters in Mohakhali as an officer on special duty (OSD).

The decision was announced in a notification issued on Tuesday by the Health Services Division under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

According to the notification, the transfer was made as part of a reshuffle involving BCS Health Cadre officials.

In the same order, Dr. Ivy Ferdous, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer of Rupganj in Narayanganj, was appointed as the acting Civil Surgeon of Manikganj.

The order also instructed the concerned officials to join their new workplaces by May 21. Otherwise, they will be considered automatically released from their current duties from May 23.
