BHANGA, FARIDPUR, June 19: A meeting was held with the participation of the heads of Bhanga Upazila Secondary Schools and Madrasas at the Bhanga Government Model Pilot High School Teachers' Auditorium on Friday morning under the chairmanship of Haider Hossain, the head teacher of the pilot school. Shahidul Islam Babul, MP for Faridpur-4 Constituency, was present as the chief guest at the meeting.
The heads of various educational institutions in the upazila discussed the issues of improving the quality of educational programmes, increasing student attendance, maintaining discipline and overall development of the educational institutions.
In his speech, the chief guest Shahidul Islam Babul said that emphasis should be placed on the coordinated efforts of teachers, students and guardians to improve the quality of education. He also gave various guidelines to ensure a beautiful and education-friendly environment in educational institutions. He emphasised that teachers should ensure that students come to school properly. It is not enough to just pass the exam, quality education must be maintained, he added.
The head teachers of various schools highlighted various problems, possibilities and development plans of their respective institutions. At the meeting, education administration officials assured necessary advice and cooperation in these matters.
