PABNA, June 21: Road, Railway and Shipping Minister Shaikh Rabiul Alam has announced that a direct Pabna-Dhaka train will be launched by next August, alongside the introduction of an international standard multi-modal system to restore order in the transport sector.
He made the statement to reporters after exchanging views with government officials and interested parties at the Pabna Circuit House auditorium on Saturday afternoon.
The minister further stated that order would be brought to the transport sector not by opposing each other, but through a coordinated initiative with owners and workers.
