ICT challenges in secondary schools

Dear Sir,
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has brought significant changes to secondary education in Bangladesh. Under the Digital Bangladesh initiative, ICT has become a compulsory subject in Grades 8"10, and many schools now use multimedia classrooms, projectors, laptops, and internet facilities.

Despite these achievements, several challenges remain. Many rural schools still suffer from unreliable electricity and poor internet connectivity, disrupting ICT-based learning. Another major problem is the shortage of trained ICT teachers.

To overcome these limitations, the government should invest in teacher training, improve digital infrastructure, and develop quality educational content in Bangla.
