Moulvibazar, Kulaura Municipality has announced a proposed budget of Tk 98.28 crore for the 2026�"27 fiscal year.
The budget, unveiled on Monday by Municipality Administrator and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sanjida Akter, projects an income of Tk 98.44 crore against an expenditure of Tk 98.28 crore, leaving a surplus of about Tk 16.63 lakh. The highest allocation has been earmarked for development activities.
Sanjida Akter described the budget as realistic and people-oriented.
It aims to improve civic services, develop sustainable infrastructure and build a cleaner, modern municipality.
