Purnima backs Argentina after World Cup final berth

Popular actress Dilara Hanif Purnima has celebrated Argentina's place in the FIFA World Cup final, expressing her support for the defending champions following their victory over England.

Sharing her reaction on her verified Facebook page after the match, Purnima wrote: "I stand by the champions. Argentina are in the World Cup final again. Looking forward to another final battle."

Her post quickly drew reactions from fans, with the comments section filling up with congratulatory messages and celebrations from fellow Argentina supporters.

Purnima had also expressed her excitement after Argentina secured a place in the semi-finals by defeating Switzerland. At the time, she wrote: "Pure emotion. Pure emotion. Semi-finalist!"

Argentina will now take on Spain in the World Cup final at 1:00 am Bangladesh time on Monday (July 20). The title-deciding clash will be held at New York New Jersey Stadium in the United States, with football fans eagerly awaiting to see whether Lionel Messi's side can retain the trophy.
