DU VC appoints 2 new acting deans

Dhaka University (DU) has appointed two new acting deans to lead its Social Sciences and Biological Sciences faculties.

Professor Md Mehedi Hasan Khan from the Population Sciences department has been appointed as the acting dean of the Social Sciences faculty, while Professor Dr Md Abdul Karim of the Botany department has taken charge of the Biological Sciences faculty.

The University’s Public Relations Office confirmed the executive leadership changes in an official statement issued on Tuesday.

The university statement confirmed that both newly appointed deans have officially assumed their responsibilities, ensuring seamless administrative continuity across both faculties.
