Ebtedayee madrasa teachers demand MPO inclusion

Teachers of independent Ebtedayee madrasas formed a human chain in front of the National Press Club in Dhaka on Thursday, demanding the quick implementation of MPO benefits for institutions that applied under the 2025 policy.

The programme was organised by the Independent Ebtedayee Madrasa National Teachers' Unity Front. The human chain was chaired by the organisation's President, Maulana Shamsul Haque Ansari, while Secretary General Hafez Maulana Mufti Abdul Hannan conducted the programme.

They claimed that although the Ministry of Education had issued necessary directives, no effective steps had been taken, leaving teachers and staff frustrated.
