
A Bangladeshi was killed by India’s Border Security Force (BSF) in the Maguruli area inside India, opposite Prithimpasha Union in Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar.
The deceased was identified as Tara mia,20, son of Abdul Malek. He is a resident of Muraichora slum of KulawraUpozila.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Sarker Asif Mahmud is the commanding officer of the 46 BGB’s Sreemangal Battalion “ he had a connection with cattle smuggling as per schedule on Sunday (august 9) at around early morning 4;00 AM while a group of smuggler was passing through magruli area of indiaBSF began to fire that lefts Tara mia dead.
A case related to smuggling had also been filed against Tara Mia. The BGB said it was in contact with the relevant authorities and collecting necessary information to obtain further details about the incident ‘’he added.
