Dumper hits bike, rider dies

A motorcyclist died due to a collision with a dumper truck in Demra, Dhaka, around midnight on Sunday.
The driver of the truck has been arrested and jailed by a court.
The dead person has been reported as Md Saiful, 35. He was arrested by the locals who then handed him to the police. A court on Monday (August 17) ordered him to be jailed.
The incident took place near Bawani Jute Mill. Saiful was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital by the locals where doctors confirmed his death. The helper of the truck, Md Rafiq, 50, is still escaped.
The statement from Demra Police revealed that Saiful came to Dhaka for job interviews and was riding his motorcycle to Staff Quarters.
His mother registered a case against the driver and helper at Demra Police Station.
