The popular romantic comedy "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" is set to have a sequel 23 years after its release in 2003.
Directed by Donald Petrie, the movie turned out to be a commercial success and developed a cult following among people who adored the on-screen romance of Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson.
Paramount Pictures is currently working on a sequel, which will also see Hudson serving as one of the producers. But it is not yet clear whether McConaughey and Hudson will return for the sequel. The filmmakers wish that the duo returned, but a screenwriter is also being searched for the storyline.
This sequel has emerged at a time when Hollywood is looking towards successful franchises, after recent releases like The Devil Wears Prada 2, Scary Movie and Toy Story 5.
