PhD research seminar held at BOU

GAZIPUR, Sept 9: The School of Business of Bangladesh Open University (BOU) organised a PhD research seminar at the ICT seminar room of the BOU’s Gazipur campus on Tuesday. 

In the seminar, PhD researchers presented the content, theoretical framework, research methodology, and proposed analysis of their ongoing research.

BOU Pro Vice-Chancellor (Admin) Prof Dr Muhammad Sirajul Islam was present as the chief guest at the function while Convener of the PhD Seminar Committee and Dean of BOU’s School of Business Prof Dr Md Moinul Islam was in the chair.

Professor of ISE, IUB, Dhaka Dr M Ekramul Haque, Dr Mohammad Nazrul Islam, and BOU’s School of Business Prof Dr Shaheen Ahmed were present as subject experts.

PhD researcher Md Nurul Islam Khan presented his research paper at the seminar titled “Meditating Role of Organisational Culture in the Relationship between Human Resource Management Practices and Job Satisfaction in the Private Banks of Bangladesh”.

Another PhD researcher, Md Saiful Alam, presented his research paper at the seminar titled “Mediating Role of Buying Behaviour on the Relationship between Generic Strategies and Organisational Performance in the Beverage Industry of Bangladesh”.
All the teachers of the School of Business and research fellows on various subjects were present in the seminar.
