Bayern Munich kicked off their UEFA Champions League campaign in dominant fashion, sweeping aside Bodo/Glimt 5-0 following a stunning second-half goal spree.

Returning to the starting line-up after recovering from a neurological condition, Jamal Musiala broke the deadlock in the 47th minute off a deflected pass from Harry Kane. It was Musiala's first competitive goal since netting for Germany against Curacao in June.

Harry Kane doubled the advantage in the 61st minute with a header from a free-kick, taking his Champions League tally to 55 goals in 71 appearances. Alphonso Davies made it 3-0 in the 77th minute with a powerful strike from outside the box.

Michael Olise then extended the lead with a precise finish before Bodo/Glimt suffered another setback when Odin Bjoertuft received a direct red card for a foul on Olise. Olise capped off the dominant performance by netting his second goal in stoppage time to complete the 5-0 victory.
