A young man in Fakirhat loses control of his bike, crashing into a tree, leading to his death.
A young man named Md. Hussain Sheikh, 26, was killed in Fakirhat, Bagerhat, after losing control of his motorcycle and crashing into a palm tree.
The accident happened in front of the Brahmanrakdia Uttarpara Adarsha Government Primary School in the upazila.
The deceased, Md. Hussain Sheikh, was the son of Md. Haidar Sheikh from Brahmanrakdia village. He worked as a mechanic at a bicycle and van repair garage.
According to the Fire Service and locals, Hussain Sheikh was riding his motorcycle from his home to his garage at Kathaltala around 5 PM on Sunday (September 13).
On his way to the location, he lost control of bike, which slammed violently into a palm tree, killing him instantly. The motorcycle was completely mangled in the accident.
Md. Shahjahan Mia, the Acting Station Officer of Fakirhat Fire Service, stated that upon receiving the news, they arrived at the scene, where they recovered the body from a roadside ditch.
Md. Mominul Islam, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Fakirhat Model Police Station, confirmed the incident and stated that the body had been recovered, and will be handed over to the family following legal formalities.
