Mirza Abbas visits Dhaka Medical College Hospital

Dhaka-8 MP and Prime Minister’s political adviser Mirza Abbas Uddin Ahmed visited Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Monday afternoon for the first time since being appointed chairman of its management committee.

Mirza Abbas arrived at the hospital around 3:00 PM and stayed for some time at the administrative block before leaving, said DMCH Director Brig Gen Dr Md Asaduzzaman.

The director said Mirza Abbas discussed various issues concerning the hospital with them during the visit.

Mirza Abbas was appointed chairman of the DMCH management committee on July 30 through a notification issued by the Health Services Division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

He returned to the country a few days ago after receiving medical treatment abroad.
