Prime Minister Tarique Rahman arrived in New York to attend the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), where he is scheduled to address the assembly on September 24.

A Turkish Airlines flight carrying the Prime Minister, accompanied by his wife Dr Zubaida Rahman and entourage, landed at John F Kennedy International Airport at 6:20 PM local time.

Prime Minister's Deputy Press Secretary-1 Jahidul Islam Rony confirmed the arrival.
