HC orders National Bank to allow 4 customers to withdraw deposits

The High Court has directed Bangladesh Bank to ensure that four National Bank PLC customers can withdraw money from their savings accounts.

The order came after the customers filed a writ petition alleging that the bank refused to allow them to withdraw their deposits despite repeated requests.

The court also directed Bangladesh Bank to take necessary regulatory action based on their complaints and issued a rule seeking an explanation as to why the customers should not be allowed to withdraw their legally held funds.
