Rooppur gets fresh uranium shipment from Russia today

A special cargo, carrying a shipment of uranium from Russia for the second unit of Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant, is scheduled to arrive in the country on Thursday, according to sources at the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The shipment was originally scheduled to arrive on September 24, but was postponed despite preparations by both Russian and Bangladeshi authorities.
