Bangladesh does not want to get involved in any war and wants global powers, including China and the US, to support its development and stability, Information and Broadcasting Minister Andalib Rahman Partho said on Saturday (October 3).
Speaking at the fifth Bay of Bengal Conversation in Dhaka, he said Bangladesh’s priorities are development, peace and stability, not war, territorial conflict or exploitation.
He said global conflicts are also driving up energy costs, leaving countries like Bangladesh to bear the consequences despite having no role in those wars.
