At least five people have been killed in two separate incidents of violence in India's northeastern state of Manipur, Reuters reported.
Police said three members of the Kuki community were shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Noney district on Saturday.
The bodies of two other Kuki men, who had gone missing earlier in the week, were recovered from Kangpokpi district on Sunday morning.
The Kuki community blamed Naga separatist groups for the killings.
Clashes broke out in Kangpokpi following the recovery of the two bodies, prompting security forces to intervene to bring the situation under control.
