12kg LPG cylinder price raised by Tk 223 to Tk 2,060

The price of a 12kg liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder has been increased by Tk 223 to Tk 2,060 from Tk 1,837.

The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the revised price through a notification on Monday evening.

The new price came into effect at 8:00pm on 2 November and will remain in force until further notice, the commission said.

Earlier, on 29 October, a technical evaluation committee of BERC proposed raising the retail price of a 12kg LPG cylinder from Tk 1,837 to Tk 1,976.
