KAPTAI, RANGAMATI, Jan 24: BNP leaders and activists distributed leaflets at the Kaptai Upstream Jetighat weekly hill-Bengali market on Saturday, urging voters to support their candidate Adv. Dipen Dewan in the upcoming 13th parliamentary elections for Rangamati.

The distribution was organised by the Kaptai Upazila BNP Election Management Committee, targeting buyers and sellers who had come from remote hill areas. The leaflets encouraged voters to mark the "paddy top" symbol on February 12, 2026, the scheduled polling day. Market-goers received the leaflets enthusiastically.

Kaptai Upazila BNP President and Election Committee convener Lokman Ahmed, along with committee members Dildar Hossain, Jafar Ahmed Swapan, Ikram Hossain Belal, Abu Bakr Siddique, Kabirul Islam Kabir, Kamal Hakim, Shahabuddin, Foyez Ahmed, Salauddin Rubel, Imam Uddin, Morshed Alam, Abdullah Al Mamun, Mohorom, Rashid and other party activists, actively took part in the distribution.

Lokman Ahmed expressed confidence in BNP's victory, saying, "With the support of the people, InshaAllah, the 'paddy top' symbol will win on February 12, 2026."
