Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon has said that no corruption will be allowed in this ministry and no one will be permitted to engage in corrupt practices.
He made the remarks on Sunday after a meeting with the Teachers-Employees Unity Alliance at the Secretariat.
''We are sincere about education. Teachers will no longer need to take to the streets with their demands.''
''Teachers' evaluation issues and all legitimate demands, including pay scale adjustments for teachers and staff, will be presented to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.''
Milon also mentioned that initiatives would be taken to ensure greater consistency and alignment among the three categories of education curricula.
Regarding the Eid bonus, the minister said the demand for a 100 per cent bonus would be reviewed and presented to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
He noted that since the matter was not included in this year's budget, it would require further discussion.
