Motorcyclist killed in Lalmonirhat road mishap

A motorcyclist was killed in a road mishap in Lalmonirhat’s Patgram upazila on Saturday morning.
 
The deceased was identified as Rafiquzzaman Palash, 35, a resident of Badarganj upazila in Rangpur district. He was working as a manager at a Walton showroom in Patgram. 
 
According to locals, the accident occurred around 11:30 AM in Shimultala area of Sarwar Bazar when Palash was heading towards Baura Bazar on a motorcycle to collect outstanding installments.

At that time, a stone-laden truck hit his motorcycle, threw him onto the road and he died on the spot.

Being infored, police reached the spot and recovered the body.
 
Patgram Police Station sub-inspector (SI) Swapan Kumar confirmed the incident and said that efforts are underway to identify the truck involved in the incident.
