Man stabbed to death by neighbor

A man was stabbed to death by his neighbor in Dohazari area of Chattogram.

Deceased Md Salauddin, 42, was a resident of Chakaria upazila of Cox's Bazar.

Police confirmed, Salahuddin was stabbed in Diyarkul area of Dohazari Municipality around 10:30PM on Friday. He was first taken to Dohazari Health Complex in serious condition. Later, as condition deteriorated, he was admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where he succombed to his injuries on Saturday morning.

Chandanaish Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Ilyas Khan said, Salauddin and accused Hanif are neighbors. They often had arguments over silly matters. On Friday night, Hanif stabbed him at one point of the alcation.

The wife of the deceased has filed a murder case against Hanif in this incident. 

Police said that efforts are underway to arrest the accused.
