Missing teen’s body recovered after 2-day in Moulvibazar

The body of a teenager have been recovered two days after he went missing in Moulvibazar's Sreemangal.

He had gone missing near his house on March 27. His body was recovered from Kamarpara area of Alisarkul, outside the upazila, around 9PM on Sunday.

Deceased Junayed Mia,14, is the son of Ramiz Mia, an expatriate from Alisarkul village of the upazila.

According to family after his missing, his father went live on social media and asked for help his son's search. 

When Junayed's body was identified, his father went live on social media again on Sunday night, naming a few people and demanding their arrest and trial. At that time, he also sought the cooperation of everyone in the area, including the local parliament member.

Confirming the matter, Sreemangal Police Station Officer in-Charge (OC) Md Zahirul Islam said, ''We have recovered the body. Legal action will be taken in this incident.''
